Abstract

Tanulmányom egyrészt egyfajta tematikus áttekintő, amelyben felvázolom az online világok és interakciók vizsgálatának irányait a hazai néprajztudományban és kulturális antropológiában. Másrészt, ezzel párhuzamosan, néhány kapcsolódó metodológiai és elméleti kérdésre kívánok reflektálni, külön figyelmet szentelve az etikai természetű dilemmáknak. Mindezzel célom annak megerősítése, hogy ezeken a szakterületeken igenis egyre határozottabb és egyre következetesebb tudományos érdeklődés mutatkozik az online kutatások, avagy az internet etnográfiája iránt. On the one hand, my study comprises a thematic survey, in which I wish to outline the trends and directions of the research of online realms and interactions perceivable in Hungarian ethnology and cultural anthropology. On the other hand, parallel with this, I also intend to reflect on a few related questions of methodology and theory, with special attention devoted to dilemmas of ethical nature. My purpose through this is to confirm the assumption that there is an ever more determined and consistent academic interest present in these fields towards online research projects and the ethnography of the Internet.
