Abstract
The demands on information about the state, processes and functions of soils are significant and are continuously increasing both on national and international level. Pedological information is generally available; however the requirements and the possibilities diverge often notably. For a high level satisfaction of demands theoretical methodology development and its practical application is required. This is based on legacy and recent soil data, on auxiliary environmental information together with object specifically used GIS and applied mathematical tools.
