Abstract
The author has shown on typical examples taken mainly from his own results some new applications of Mössbauer spectroscopy. The application of the partial quadrupole splitting concept for the determination of paramagnetic spin relaxation studies in solution chemistry and a new procedure based on the Mössbauer study of liquids trapped in the pores of a „thirsty glass” carrier have been discussed.
