Abstract

2021-ben új honfoglalás és kora Árpád-kori lelőhelyek váltak ismertté a kutatás számára Szarvas környékén: Csabacsűd-Kovácshalmi-dűlő, Komár-tanya és Szarvas-Ponyiczky-tanya. Előbbi lelőhelyen még az év során megvalósult a régészeti feltárás, melynek eredményeképpen egy 10. századi temető került azonosításra. A Szarvas-Ponyiczky-tanyáról származó szórványleletek pedig egy 10–11. századi temetőre utalnak. In 2021 two archaeological sites were discovered in the area of Szarvas: Csabacsűd-Kovácshalmi-dűlő, Komár-tanya and Szarvas-Ponyiczky-tanya. The cemetery fragment of Csabacsűd-Kovácshalmi-dűlő, Komár-tanya was excavated in 2021. Based on the results of the archaeological research and the analysation of the stray finds, there is a cemetery dating back to the 10th century here. From Szarvas-Ponyiczky-tanya only stray finds emerged, but which indicate a cemetery from the 10th–11th century there.
