Abstract

Dabas Templom-domb lelőhelyen a 2020-as ásatási szezonban találtak egy középkori sír sírföldjében a feltárók egy bronz amulettet. Kopottsága miatt a rajta lévő ábrázolások nehezen kivehetőek voltak, ugyanakkor így is észlelhető az előlapi ábrázoláson az emberi, szárnyas alak valamilyen bottal a kezében. A dolgozat szempontjából, mégis a hátlapi, amorf motívum az érdekes, mivel a motívum értelmezése a Rusz felé, pontosabban az óorosz „змеевики”, vagyis „kígyófészek” amulettek irányába indítja el a kutatást. In 2020 excavators found a bronze amulet in the burial ground of a medieval grave at the Dabas Templom-domb site. Because of its worn condition, the images on the amulet were difficult to make out. But even so, a human, winged figure with a staff in his hand can be seen on the front. From the standpoint of this study, however, it is the amorphous motif on the back that is of interest. The interpretation of this motif takes us towards of the Kievan Rus'. More specifically towards the Old Russian „ змеевики”, or „snake's nest” amulets.
