Abstract

Alábbi tanulmány célja, hogy átfogó képet adjon a 2021 augusztusa óta az afganisztáni biztonsági helyzetben bekövetkezett jelentősebb eseményekről és ezek hatásairól a szélesebb régióra. A politikai, gazdasági és humanitárius helyzet áttekintése után a szerző taglalja az afganisztáni biztonsági helyzet sajátosságait, az ott tapasztalható trendeket és az Afganisztán területéről kiinduló fenyegetéseket. A tanulmány jelentős figyelmet szentel két kiemelkedő szereplőnek: az Egyesült Államoknak és Pakisztánnak, amelyek fenyegetve érzik biztonsági érdekeiket az Afganisztánban végbemenő folyamatok miatt. The objective of this article is to give a comprehensive overview of the major changes that have occurred in the security situation of Afghanistan and its implications for the wider region. After a short review of the political, economic and humanitarian situation the author will detail the specificities of the security situation in Afghanistan, the trends in this field as well as the threats emanating from the territory of Afghanistan. The article will focus on two major players: the United States and Pakistan, both of which perceive threats to their security interests due to the ongoing events in Afghanistan.
