Abstract
1. ) Cancerogenic substances were introduced in the organisms of Drosophila larvae through their food, and their photodynamic effect measured under u. v. irradiation. 2. ) Benzpyrene had the strongest effect, after which came methylcholanthrene, and last dibenzanthracene. 3. On the basis uf this experiment it is possible to measure and standardize the photodynamic effect of chemical substances on Drosophila larvae in the III stadium.
