Abstract
The aim of my project is to offer an automation solution for examining solid-state passive detectors frequently used in particle physics. Since the detector surface often exceeds the field of view of microscopes, the implementation of a two-dimensional mobile platform is necessary. Additionally, processing the captured images provides information on the incident particle energy, direction and mass. Automation accelerates the examination process and reduces the human factor inherent in the analysis.
