Abstract
This review paper outlines the complex landscape of the digital economy. The complex relationship between innovation, competition, and consumer dynamics is analyzed. Further, the paper explores the impact of digital technologies on market structures and consumer behaviors, which ranges from e-commerce and online publishing to taxation and the difficulties linked with big data, which turns out to be transformative. Analysis of network effects, market concentration, and the role of major players such as Google and Amazon are guided by insights from the past studies. The study further examines how regulations are changing, concentrating on consumer protection, competition law, and privacy issues. By examining the digital ecosystem, this paper provides a particular understanding of how businesses, consumers, and policymakers navigate the complexities of the digital marketplace.
