Abstract

A tanulmány a Magyar Királyi Központi Statisztikai Hivatalnak és igazgatójának, Buday Lászlónak a trianoni békedelegáció segítésében játszott szerepét tárgyalja. Elsőként az ezzel kapcsolatos tudományos munkát és annak a propagandába csatornázásának hátterét mutatja be és helyezi történeti kontextusba, ezután a szerző elemzi a statisztikai munkacsoport vezetőjének, Buday Lászlónak a Magyarország gazdasági egysége című tanulmányát, majd az írás végén levonja a következtetéseket a prezentált tények ismeretében. | The study presents the Royal Hungarian Central Statistical Office’s and its’ directors work in the helping of the Hungarian peace delegation sent to the Paris Peace Conference in 1920. First, it explains the background of the scientific work and its’ connection to the propaganda, then the author analyzes the study of László Buday, titled „The economic unity of Hungary”, lastly draws the consequences from the facts presented before.
