Abstract
Let Fq be a finite field of order q = pk for some prime p and a positive integer k. In this article, we provide the structure of the unit group U(F3kD6n) of the group algebra F3kD6n when n is not divisible by 3. Also, a characterization of the unit group U(FqD42) of the group algebra FqD42 has been provided for all the possible cases corresponding to different values of the characteristic p.
