Abstract
Project of MA Interior Design students RCA, 2021-2025. Addressing the climate emergency and social justice, this presentation advocates for "radicalizing heritage" by exclusively reusing existing materials, challenging traditional preservation norms and introducing "activating transparencies" to engage with tangible and intangible heritage. By inverting normative research methods, materials drive the process, radically transforming them to meet future needs, demonstrating that reuse is a unique, knowledge-generating practice.
