Abstract

A generalized variant of the finite difference method [2, 3, 4] is used for numerical modelling of non-steady and non-linear thermal diffusion problems. In order to simplify the considerations the 1D problem (infinite plate) is discussed, but the way of 2D algorithm construction is very similar. In the first part of the paper the governing equations are presented, in the second one, some details connected with the numerical algorithm and an example of computations can be found.
