Abstract

A tanulmány célja választ találni arra a kérdésre, hogy Lengyelország és Magyarország történelmileg baráti kapcsolata, kulturális hasonlóságai, valamint földrajzi közelsége ellenére miért folytat ennyire eltérő politikát Ukrajnával, illetve az orosz–ukrán háborúval kapcsolatban. A kutatás komparatív elemzési módszert alkalmaz, amely során a két érintett ország Ukrajnához és Oroszországhoz fűződő viszonyát hasonlítom össze négy dimenzió – földrajz és történelem, külpolitika, társadalmi percepciók, illetve biztonság – vizsgálatán keresztül. | The aim of the study is to answer the question why – despite their historically friendly relations, cultural similarities and geographical proximity – Poland and Hungary have such different approaches towards Ukraine and the Russo-Ukrainian war. The research uses a comparative analysis method, comparing the two countries’ relations with Ukraine and Russia through four dimensions: geography and history, foreign policy, social perceptions and security.
