Abstract

Tanulmányom célja a 10–14 éves gyermekek gyakorlati irányultságú, kézműves, kereskedelmi vagy mezőgazdasági szakképzésre előkészítő oktatását biztosító polgári iskolák mezőgazdasági szaktanárainak kiképzését végző tanszék és a hozzá kapcsolódó tangazdaság,minta telep 1930-as évekbeli működésének vizsgálata. Ennek alapján képet nyerhetünk afőiskola tanszéki szerkezetéből leginkább kilógó, a többinél lényegesen nagyobb beruházást igénylő intézménynek a városban működő egyetemre, Szeged városára és általában adél-alföldi régió gazdasági fejlődésére kisugárzó hatást gyakorló intézmény kiépítéséről ésműködéséről. Az intézmény- és oktatástörténet mellett érdekes adalékok nyerhetők tárgyat1930-tól két évtizeden át oktató, a tanszéket és a mintagazdaságot kiépítő, vezető vitéz sziliTörök Imre személyiségéről is. | The aim of my study is to examine the operation, during the 1930s, of the department responsible for training agricultural teachers for polgári schools—institutions providing practically oriented preparatory education in craft, commercial, or agricultural vocations for children aged 10 to 14—and of the associated training farm and model estate. This inquiry offers insight into the establishment and functioning of an institutional unit that stood out markedly from the college’s departmental structure, both in its character and in the significantly greater investment it required, and which exerted a radiating influence on the university operating in the city, on the city of Szeged itself, and more broadly on the economic development of the Southern Great Plain region. In addition to institutional and educational history, the study also yields intriguing details about the personality of vitéz szili Imre Török, who taught the subject for two decades from 1930 and who played a leading role in building and directing both the department and the model farm.
