Abstract

Navigating the balance between traditional Balaton-upland architecture and modern needs, this project reimagines the "porch" (tornác) and "veranda" as functional spatial layers. The T-shaped layout separates a forecourt and a private garden, with shaded corridors created through additive and subtractive design. By combining red sandstone, white plaster, and exposed concrete, the house connects historical logic with today's digital lifestyle, offering a thoughtful model for contemporary architecture that emphasizes spatial experience and adaptability over imitation.
