Abstract
Nestled into Szállásréti Park, the building integrates environmental psychology and extensive wood surfaces to create a nurturing, secure environment for child development. To meet a strict construction deadline, the project utilizes a cross-laminated timber (CLT) system, combining solid prefabricated components for main classroom zones with demountable partitions for flexible secondary spaces. The architecture prioritizes sensory engagement through visual forest connections and specialized transition zones that ease parent-child separation. Symbolically, the central communal hall features a geometric CLT skylight and dome assembly that filters daylight into an abstract cross motif for liturgical events.
