Abstract

Az evangéliumok tanúsága szerint a Názáreti Jézus jártas volt a szent iratok olvasásában, tanulmányozásában és magyarázatában. Ismerte és alkalmazta a rabbinikus írásmagyarázat elveit és módszereit. Korának vallási elitjével, az írástudókkal vitákat folytatott a helyes vallási gyakorlatról. Ezek során az írástudók általában egyenrangú partnernek tekintették őt. A tanulmány arra a kérdésre keresi a választ, hogy honnan származott Jézus vallásos műveltsége. Azt a hipotézist vizsgálja, hogy Jézus műveltségének forrása lehetett-e a híres Johanan ben Zakkai rabbi, aki huzamosabb időt töltött Jézus szűkebb hazájában, Galileában. Az elemzés eredményeként sem bizonyítani, sem cáfolni nem lehet ezt a hipotézist. Az áttekintés következményeként azonban meg lehet fogalmazni olyan témákat, amelyek új szempontokkal gazdagíthatják a kereszténység és a judaizmus együttműködését. | According to the Gospels, Jesus of Nazareth was skilled in reading, studying, and interpreting the Holy Scriptures. He knew and applied the principles and methods of rabbinic exegesis. He engaged in debates with the religious elite of his time, the scribes, about correct religious practice. In these discussions, the scribes generally considered him an equal partner. The study seeks to answer the question of where Jesus’ religious education came from. It examines the hypothesis that the source of Jesus’ education could have been the famous Rabbi Johanan ben Zakkai, who spent a long time in Jesus’s homeland, Galilee. The analysis neither proves nor disproves this hypothesis. However, conclusions of this review can offer new aspects for the dialog between Christianity and Judaism.
