Abstract
After the global public health crisis, outbreaks are seen as a cyclical phenomenon rather than a one-time event, hence the need to prepare for potential future pandemics. This study investigates the use of prefabricated technology in Chinese community healthcare centers to address spatial design challenges. This technology effectively resolves issues in general wards and enhances emergency response capabilities through isolation units, optimized layouts, and improved ventilation. Phased renovations ensure service continuity, making prefabrication a viable solution for rapid upgrades and strengthening pandemic response capabilities.
