Abstract
Mongolian temple architecture has undergone a remarkable evolution over the centuries, reflecting the country's deep-rooted religious traditions and its interactions with neighbouring cultures. This paper explores the architectural characteristics of key Mongolian temples, including Uuld Beisiin Khuree, Unstiin Khiid, Zaya Gegeenii Khuree, Amarbayasgalant Monastery, Erdene Zuu Monastery, and Gandan Monastery, tracing their development from their origins to the present day. The analysis focuses on the structural innovations, symbolic elements, and regional adaptations that shaped these temples. In addition, the paper examines the ongoing efforts to preserve these architectural treasures, emphasizing the importance of heritage conservation and the role of modern technologies in safeguarding Mongolia's cultural legacy for future generations.
