Abstract

The medicine of the ancient Egyptians is some of the oldest documented. The Ebers Papyrus is full of incantations and foul applications meant to turn away disease-causing demons, and also includes 877 prescriptions. It may also contain the earliest documented awareness of tumors, if the poorly understood ancient medical terminology has been correctly interpreted. It is imported to collect the use of given materia medica in other fields of life at that time: their role in every day life, in cultic and funeral worlds. We could understand of conceptr of theis medical and/or pharmaceutical properties and their iatromagical application, especially the role of cattle curing.
