Abstract

Célkitűzés: A tanulmány célja annak bemutatása, hogy a diplomás egészségügyi szakdolgozók mint termékenységi koordinátorok milyen szerepet töltenek be a termékenységi kivizsgálás során az egészségedukáció, a prevenció és a betegútmenedzsment területén, valamint miként járulnak hozzá a páciensek biztonságérzetéhez és az ellátás hatékonyságához. Vizsgálat módszere: A kutatás anonim, önkéntes kérdőíves felmérésen alapult, amelyben a Budai Irgalmasrendi Kórház Keresztény Családi Centrumában (KCSC) ellátásban részesülő 287 páciens vett részt. A kérdőív a koordinátori edukáció, a betegútmenedzsment és a páciensek elégedettségének megítélését vizsgálta. Eredmények: A válaszadók jelentős része új információkhoz jutott a termékenységi kivizsgálás folyamatával, a női ciklussal és a férfi egészséggel kapcsolatban. A koordinátorok szakmai kompetenciáját és segítőkészségét a páciensek több mint 98%-a pozitívan értékelte. Következtetések: A termékenységi koordinátori rendszer javítja a páciensek egészségértését és biztonságérzetét, miközben tehermentesíti a szakorvosokat és növeli az ellátás hatékonyságát. | Purpose: This study aims to examine the role of graduate healthcare professionals working as fertility coordinators in fertility diagnostics, with particular emphasis on health education, prevention, and patient pathway management, and to explore how their involvement contributes to patients’ sense of security and improves the efficiency of care. Methods: An anonymous, voluntary questionnaire survey was conducted among patients of the Christian Family Centre at the Buda Hospital of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God. A total of 287 patients participated in the study. The questionnaire examined the effectiveness of coordinator-led education, patient pathway management, and patient satisfaction. Results: A considerable proportion of respondents reported gaining new information during the first consultation, particularly regarding the fertility diagnostic process, the female cycle, and male reproductive health. More than 98% of participants evaluated the coordinators’ professional competence and supportive attitude positively. Conclusion: The fertility coordinator model improves patients’ health literacy and sense of security while supporting cooperation during the diagnostic process. At the same time, it contributes to a more efficient organization of care and reduces the workload of physicians.
