Abstract
Applied doctoral research on multisensory architecture shaped the renovation of a protected villa overlooking Lake Balaton in Balatonalmádi. Keeping its chapel, red-stone masonry, and original plan, the design replaces cold luxury with tactile domesticity through sandblasted wood, copper details, textured plaster, discreet extensions, and a sensory garden.
