Abstract
A talajok létrejötte, fejlődése a földi szférák metszéspontjában, határmezsgyéjén történik meg, éppen ezért nem meglepő, ha a talajok magukban hordozzák a létrehozó hatások tulajdonságait, jellemzőit. Ezen emlékek változatos formában jelennek meg talajainkban, és egymástól végletesen eltérő módszerek alkalmazásával „fordíthatók” le. A megfelelő módon konzerválódott talajok tulajdonságainak vizsgálatával például képet alkothatunk az egykori környezetről, növényzetről és tájformáló hatásokról is. Jelen munkában egy alföldi sírdomb – a Csípő-halom – korábbi őskörnyezettani kutatásaihoz kívánunk hozzájárulni a halom által eltemetett őstalaj fitolit elemzésének révén. A korábban elvégzett kutatások eredményeire támaszkodva ugyan, de a vizsgálati területen eddig nem alkalmazott módszerrel nyert eredmények közelebb visznek, hogy pontosabb képet alkothassunk a rézkori Alföld paleobotanikai képéről. | Pedogenesis and the evolution of soils is a result of the interaction of Earth’s spheres and materializes on their boundaries. Soils bear the characteristics of the impacts that ’brought them to live’. They contain the memories of ancient times in various forms and phenomena. To understand their meaning they need to be ’translated’ by highly different methods. This leads us to the recognition that the examination of well-preserved soil profiles are of high-value in reconstructing the former, ancient environment. The work presented in this paper would like to contribute with new data to the palaeoecological survey of a burial mound situated on the Great Hungarian Plain. Phytolith analysis was used to examine the buried palaeosoil profile underneath the kurgan. Though former studies have covered broad spectra of methods and resulted in valuable data, we hope that the direct paleobotanical survey will serve as a good source in the better understanding of the palaeovegetation and ancient environment of the Copper Age Great Hungarian Plain.
