Abstract
In modern conflicts, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become central instruments of risk-averse warfare, enabling the conduct of reconnaissance, strike, information gathering, and electronic operations without the direct endangerment of human life. The study presents the rapid development of drone technology and highlights the significance of the emergence of autonomous capabilities. The employment of drones not only provides operational advantages but also fundamentally transforms the logistical dimension of warfare. The central focus of the research is the assumption that the effective employment of drone-based warfare can be ensured through a decentralized, adaptive, and technology-oriented logistics system. We achieve this by doctrinal comparison, coupled with and proven by published, real-life experience. The authors also emphasize the new technology-oriented and adaptive logistics that must be the basis of future planning processes.
