Abstract

Since the mid-1970s but has had a Building Acoustics Laboratory working closely in partnership with the department of building structures. Aside from educational research tests, results have been published. Between 1995 and 2011 emphasis was placed on the examination of specific walls structures to establish performance of material types and construction methods. This research also covers roofs and provides an overview of areas where possible further research might be undertaken.
