Abstract

A kutatás célja a metamorfózis és a kőzeteket ért deformáció közötti kapcsolat vizsgálata volt egyes magyarországi és kapcsolódó területeken található, a Kárpát-medence és környezete geodinamikai rekonstrukciója szempontjából kiemelkedő fontosságú tektonikai egységek metamorf kőzetösszleteinek példáin. Ezekhez a modell-anyagokat magyarországi nagyszerkezeti egységek (Bükk, Uppony, Szendrő) és az Alp-Kárpát-Pannon-térség nemzetközi együttműködések keretében begyűjtött típusterületei szolgáltatták (szlovéniai Pohorje hegység, horvátországi Szlavóniai-hegység). A pályázat alapkutatási jellegű volt: a kőzetátalakulás (metamorfózis) és a kőzetet ért deformáció közötti kapcsolat jobb megismerését célozta. Az elért eredmények egyrészt a tektonikai deformáció különböző nyomás-hőmérséklet tartományokban végbemenő ásvány- és kőzetátalakulási folyamatokra gyakorolt hatásainak tisztázásához szolgáltattak új adatokat. Másrészt a metamorf fok jelző módszerek alkalmazási lehetőségeit pontosították, harmadrészt regionális kőzettani és mikrotektonikai eredményekkel szolgáltak a Kárpát-medence és tágabb környezete metamorf fejlődéstörténetéről. | The aim of the research was the investigation of relations between metamorphism and deformation exemplified on metamorphic terranes in Hungary and adjacent territories from the Carpathian Basin which had significant importance on the geodynamic reconstruction of the area. The metamorphic grade of the studied assemblages ranged from the very low-grade (anchizone) to the high-temperature part of the amphibolite facies. Deformational characteristics were from the brittle to the ductile regime with variably changing deformational speeds. For these studies the model areas were from Hungary (Bükk, Uppony and Szendrő Mts.), and we used samples from the Alpine-Carpathian-Pannonian area (Pohorje Mts., Slovenia; Slavonian Mts., Croatia) collected within the framework of international projects. This project was a basic research type one: it aimed for the better understanding of relations between metamorphism and tectonic deformation. The presented results provided data on the effect of tectonic deformation in mineral and rock transformations on various temperature-pressure conditions. The results improved the application of geothermobarometric methods and yielded new regional petrographic and microstructural results in the Carpathian Basin and adjacent areas.
