Abstract

I. A project szanszkrit szövegekkel foglalkozó részét elsősorban a kutatás módszertana fogja egybe, mivel valamennyi kutató filológiai-szövegkritikai eszközökkel közelítette meg kutatási témáját. Dezső Csaba kutatásai a kora középkori kasmíri szanszkrit nyelvű irodalomhoz kapcsolódtak (Pádatáditaka, melynek kiadása és angol fordítása befejező fázisához érkezett, és a Clay Sanskrit Library-ben fog megjelenni; Kuttanímatam, az első eredményekről cikkét ld. a publikációs listában; egy szanszkrit nyelvű dráma töredékének kritikai kiadása, megjelent az Acta Antiquában). Hidas Gergely a Mahápratiszará Mahávidjárádnyí című korai buddhista tantrikus mű kritikai kiadásán dolgozott, eredményeit két tanulmányban közölte. Kiss Csaba behatóbb vizsgálódás tárgyául a Matszjéndraszamhitát választotta, ezzel kapcsolatos tanulmánya megjelenés alatt. II. A project hindí szövegekkel foglalkozó része a Kavitávalí kritikai kiadását tűzte ki céljául, a projektben résztvevő kutatókon kívül sikeresen bekapcsolva a munkálatokba a tanszék volt diákjait is. 33 kézirat felkutatása és beszerzése után a csoport kidolgozott egy tízoldalas szerkesztési konvenciót, amely irányadó lehet a későbbi nemzetközi szövegkiadás számára is. A szövegvariánsok alapján definitív statisztikai elemzés készült a kéziratok egymáshoz való viszonyának meghatározásához. A kutatás eredményit a csoport tagjai több tanulmányban tették közzé. A teljes szövegkiadás 2008 körül fog megjelenni. | I. The common ground for that part of the project which dealt with Sanskrit texts was primarily the methodology of research, since all participants used philological and text-critical methods in their own research field. The research of Csaba Dezso is connected with Sanskrit literature in early mediaeval Kashmir (Padataditaka, the edition and English translation of which will be published in the Clay Sanskrit Library; Kuttanimatam, the first results have been published; the critical edition of the fragment of a Sanskrit play, published in Acta Antiqua Hung.). Gergely Hidas has been working on the edition of the Mahapratisara Mahavidyarajni, an early Buddhist Tantric work, and published his results in two papers. Csaba Kiss has chosen the Matsyendrasamhita as the text of his research, his paper on this subject is forthcoming. II. The goal of the Hindi research group has been the preparation of a critical edition of the Kavitavali of Tulsidas. Graduate students of the department have been involved in the research. After locating and obtaining copies of 33 manuscripts the research group has written up the editorial conventions, which may prove to be a standard for future text editions. On the basis of the textual variants a definitive statistical analysis has been prepared in order to determine the mutual relationships between particular manuscripts. The results of research have been published. The complete edition will be published around 2008.
