Abstract

Baltisztikai munkásságának betetőzéseként ebben a ciklusban Bojtár Endre elkészítette a 95 ezer szócikket tartalmazó Litván-magyar nagyszótárt, amelyet 2007-ben megjelentet a Litván Tudományos Akadémia Nyelvtudományi Intézete. | Our research plan is part of a long-term research project focusing on the preparation of the ground for a comprehensive comparative history and cultural history of the Central and East European region originally launched in 1986. As a completion of his activities in the field of Baltic studies, Endre Bojtár has, in this period, finished the Lithuanian-Hungarian Dictionary, consisting of 95 thousand items, to be published by the Institute of Linguistics of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences in 2007. This is the first Lithuanian-Hungarian Dictionary which has not only a scholarly importance but also serves as a facilitating instrument for the cooperation betweeen the two countries. Tamás Berkes has published his monograph entitled "Antinomies of the Czech History of Ideas", of some 349 pages, and, besides, he produced a number of publications in foreign languages on the literary ideas and ideological figures determining modern Czech self-reflexion. Magdolna Balogh has elaborated, based on the most recent international literature, the interpretation of "Socialist Realism" as conceived today as the most appropriate, both ideologically and poetically. The research group of the Institute for Literary Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences participated in the conferences organized by the Slovakian and Russian partner institutions, which have greatly contributed to an up-to-date interpretation of the theoretical and methodological issues of Central and East European comparative literary studies.
