Abstract
This study presents the personal and communal characteristics of the use of the prayer texts related to Saint Cyprian. The sources are in Neo-Latin languages, mostly in Spanish and Catalan. The first half of the study gives a brief outline of what kind of historical contexts, texts and magical functions are related to the character of Saint Cyprian. The second part investigates the practice of using Spanish Cyprian “prayers” on actual, specific online spaces.
