Abstract

A Magyar Királyi Csendőrség a magyar állam katonailag szervezett fegyveres őrtestülete volt. Ennek megfelelően ékítményeiben a magyar állam jelképei tükröződtek. A testület rangrendszere pedig a korabeli magyar haderő szárazföldi haderejének a rendfokozati rendszerével volt szinte teljesen azonos. A magyar csendőrség azonban nem használta a lángoló gránát jelképet, pedig a világon mindenütt a csendőr szervezeteknek ez a megkülönböztető motívuma más szervezetektől. Ennek az oka abban rejlik, hogy a külsőségek tekintetében is markánsan el kívánta magát határolni a testület a magyarságot felszámolni kívánó neoabszolutista hatalom állami terrorszervezetétől a császári birodalmi csendőrségtől. = The Hungarian Royal Gendarmerie was military organized armed guard corps. Accordingly, the symbols of the Hungarian state were reflected in embellishments. The rank system of the body was almost identical to the rank system of the contemporary Hungarian army. However, the hungarian gendarmerie did not use the flaming grenade symbol, although this is the distinguishing motive of gendarmerie organizations all over the world from other organizations. The reason for this lies in the fact that the body also wanted to distance itself from the state terrorist organization of the neo-absolutist power, which wanted to abolish Hungarians, from the Imperatorial Imperial Gendarmerie.
