Abstract
During the first phase of the coronavirus pandemic, several initiatives started to document the linguistic changes in Hungarian and in foreign languages. One of the outcomes of this process was an English monolingual epidemic dictionary. The use of the words and phrases in the dictionary requires creative pedagogical methods in the classroom and, in addition to offline solutions, online applications can be well adapted to implement the exercises in the classroom. Unlike the first dictionary, the second part of it covers a period of one and half a year. The sampling period lasted from autumn 2020 to spring 2022. The result of this new glossary is a linguistic imprint of the observed period, summarising the words and phrases that have emerged since the first dictionary was published.
