Abstract

This study analyses the connections between the subjects geography and chemistry within the framework of the Hungarian educational system. Presenting the connections, focus has been emphasised on the social science aspects of these subjects. After a short theoretical overview some ideas useful in practice are introduced and two exercises worked out by us are described, which – according to our perception – are useable effectively in everyday educational praxis.
