Abstract

Az elmúlt években zajló társadalmi változások gyakran negatív irányba vitték a köznevelésben zajló folyamatokat. Az iskolákban egyre több probléma halmozódik fel, melyek megoldását a pedagógusok látszólagos kompetenciahiány miatt nem tudják, vagy nem akarják felvállalni. A tanulók inadekvát iskolai viselkedése miatt nehézzé, esetenként lehetetlenné válik az oktatási-nevelési feladatok eredményes végrehajtása, és egyre inkább látszik, hogy a megoldhatatlan, vagy annak látszó problémák kezelésére a pedagógusok által ismert és/vagy alkalmazott eszköztár nem alkalmas. A megoldáskeresésben gyakran fogalmazódott meg a problémák külső segítséggel történő megoldása, így az iskolapszichológia iránti szükséglet megjelenése vezetett ahhoz a társadalmi szükségszerűséghez, hogy az oktatási kormányzat a 2010-es évek elején létrehozta az iskolapszichológus hálózatot. | Possibilities of the school psychologist in the process of primary and secondary education In our country, the need for the presence of school psychologists in schools arose in the 1960s. The initiative fizzled out in a few years. In the 1980s, the presence of psychologists was redefined as an expectation, and the school psychology network was slowly built up, which became general in the years after 2000. Since all the happenings of school life have a psychological aspect, the school psychologist became an indispensable element of school life, his scope of duties also expanded and became more and more diverse. Today, the Public Education Act requires the employment of a school psychologist in institutions. The activity of the school psychologist is a useful element of professional work in a school, yet many teachers still ask the question: „what is a school psychologist for?”. Experience shows that teachers’ expectations of school psychologists and their knowledge of their work are on the same level, they do not know what they can realistically expect from school psychologists, what they can do to help them in their everyday work. The author explores this issue, presenting the real possibilities inherent in the employment of a school psychologist.
