Abstract
In my study, I present the partial results of a research conducted among preschool teacher students. I consider it is important that students are exposed to tasks that aim to develop productive imagination during their pre-school teacher training, as their future work is one of the most creative professions in education. Therefore, in the framework of the “Play in the arts” course, students could experience the manifestation of their own creative imagination through a multi-step project, resulting in different, unique products (drawing or painting; story; scenes of this story made of plasticine or other visual representation; photos of scenes; short films from the photos). The results of the first phase of the project (formation of associations under the influence of music, then representation of the generated internal images and verbal associations as external images) are presented in my publication.
