Abstract

A tanulmány bevezetőjében a szerző az irodalmi fordítás és újrafordítás elméleti kérdéseivel, valamint a műfordítói munka nehézségeivel foglalkozik. A tanulmány Mihail Bulgakov 1924-ben publikált A fehér gárda című regényének 1969-ben és 2018-ban megjelent német nyelvű fordításainak összevetésével vizsgálja a műfordítás-hagyomány alakulását a rendszerváltás előtt és után. A fordításkritikai megközelítés lehetőséget ad arra is, hogy megvizsgáljuk az ismert irodalmi mű újrafordításának körülményeit, bemutassuk a fordítók munkásságát és a szöveg irodalmi-esztétikai vetületeit. A fordítások egymással való összevetése a mű további kultúrákon átívelő olvasatát és a műfordításhoz szorosan kapcsolódó jelenségek értelmezését teszi lehetővé. | In the introduction, the paper deals with the theoretical issues of literary translation and re-translation and the difficulties of literary translation. By comparing the German translations of Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel The White Guard, published in 1924, with the German translations published in 1969 and 2018, it examines the development of the literary translation tradition before and after the regime change. The translation-critical approach also provides an opportunity to examine the circumstances of the re-translation of a well-known literary work, to present the work of the translators and the literary-aesthetic aspects of the text. The comparison of translations with each other allows for a cross-cultural reading of the work and an understanding of phenomena closely related to the translation of works.
