Abstract

Dr. Turcsányi Károly professzor úrral végzett korábbi vizsgálataink során már két ízben is történt kísérlet a Kárpát-medence, illetve a Magyar Királyság azon helyszíneinek lokalizálására, ahol a 15–17. században elvben lehetséges volt a szekerek nagyobb volumenű gyártása. Kiderült, hogy ezen helységek túlnyomó többsége a vizsgált földrajzi terület nyugati, északnyugati és északi felében fekszik fontos nemzetközi kereskedelmi utak vonzáskörzetében. Mindezidáig azonban elmaradt annak vizsgálata, hogyan illeszkednek a bognárok részvételével létrehozott, szekérgyártásra képes céheknek otthont adó helységek a történelmi Moson-, Sopron-, és Vas vármegyék településszerkezetébe a 15-16. században. Jelen munkámban erre próbálok meg (legalább részben) választ találni. | In the course of our previous studies with Dr. Professor Károly Turcsányi, two attempts have already been made to locate the sites in the Carpathian Basin and the Kingdom of Hungary where, in principle, it was possible to produce wagons on a large scale from the 15th to the 17th centuries. It turned out that the vast majority of these sites were located in the western, north-western and northern parts of the aforementioned geographical area, in the vicinity of important international trade routes. Until now, however, there has been no examination of how the localities housing the guilds established with participation of wheelers how were integrated into the settlement structure of the historic counties of Moson, Sopron and Vas in the 15th and 16th centuries. The main goal of this work is to find (at least partial) answer on that question.
