Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe the unique case of the Ilustrowany Kurier Codzienny Company (Illustrated Daily Courier Company) within the context of the Polish and European press in the interwar period. This will give a Polish perspective on the development of ownership structures in the press market through the unique case of the Illustrated Daily Courier Company. As the largest press company of the interwar era, its publications remain emblematic of that time.
