Abstract

A tanulmány célja a munkamemória-kapacitás növekedésének és a gyermekek hallás utáni szövegértési teljesítmény-változásainak a vizsgálata a lehetséges összefüggések feltárásával. A kutatásban 30 tipikus fejlődésű gyermek vett részt, akik 3, 6 és 8 évesek voltak. A kísérlet során a szókincs felmérésére a nyitott szóasszociáció módszere, a munkamemória nagyságának megítélésére az álszóismétlési teszt, illetve a számterjedelmi teszt adott lehetőséget; a hallás utáni szövegértést a GMP-tesztsor 12-es altesztje mérte. A változók közötti kapcsolatokat statisztikai vizsgálat is elemzi, az eredményekben összefüggés mutatkozott a munkamemória-kapacitás és a szövegértési teljesítmény között. Akutatás tanulságai rámutatnak arra, hogy mennyire fontos a munkamemória és a szövegértés gyermekkori fejlesztése. | The aim of this study is to investigate (1) the increase of working memory capacity and (2) the change in performance of listening comprehension and the possible relations between these two. 30 normally developing children of the age of 3, 6, and 8 participated in the experiments. To measure vocabulary, an open word association task was used; to measure working memory capacity, non-word stimuli and digit-span tasks were used; listening comprehension was measured by subtest 12 of the GMP test. The statistical analysis of the relations between the variables showed a correlation between working memory capacity and performance in listening comprehension. Findings of the research have also shown how important it is to develop working memory and text comprehension in childhood.
