Abstract

E tanulmányban Hóseás, Mikeás, Jeremiás és Ézsaiás könyvének néhány olyan szövegére figyelünk, amelyekben Izrael Istenével kapcsolatban merész és provokatív hang szólal meg a teológiai kijelentésekben: JHWH alázatos, részvéttel teli Isten, aki együttérzésében egészen alárendeli magát, hogy népe javáért cselekedhessen. E kijelentések Isten legfontosabb karakterjegyének népéhez való hűségét, empátiáját tekintik. Ezzel szokatlan látásmódot jelenítenek meg: nem az emberi bűn és gyarlóság felől közelítenek Isten valóságához, hanem fordítva, Isten irgalmas szeretete felől közelítenek az emberhez, annak törékenységéhez és bűneihez. Éppen emiatt a próféták nem statikus, merev viszonyrendszert, hanem dinamikus, élő kapcsolatot látnak maguk előtt. | In this essay, we focus on a few texts from the books of Hosea, Micah, Jeremiah, and Isaiah, in which a bold and provocative tone is used in theological statements about the God of Israel: YHWH is a humble, compassionate God who, in his compassion, completely submits himself in order to act for the good of his people. These statements regard God’s faithfulness and empathy toward his people as His most important character traits. Thus, these testimonies present an unusual perspective: they do not approach God’s reality from the perspective of human sin and frailty, but rather the opposite: they approach humanity – its fragility and sins – from the perspective of God’s merciful love. Precisely for this reason, the prophets see not a static, rigid system of relationships, but a dynamic, living connection.
