Abstract
Cikkünkben két látszólag távol eső fogalom, a járvány és a tudománymetria meglepően sokrétű kapcsolatrendszerét próbáljuk körüljárni. Szó esik az információ – különösképpen a tudományos információ – terjedésének epidemiológiai modelljeiről, a különféle járványok tudományos irodalmának tudománymetriai elemzéséről, és természetesen külön foglalkozunk napjaink legaktuálisabb témájának, a COVIDjárványnak a tudománymetriai és altmetriai vetületeivel. | An attempt is made to discuss the surprisingly multifaceted intertwinement between the two apparently distant concepts of epidemics and scientometrics. The paper is dealing with the epidemiological models of the propagation of information, in general, and of scientific information, in particular, and with the scientometric analysis of the literature of various epidemics. Particular attention is paid to the scientometric and altmetric aspects of one of the hottest topics of our days: the COVID pandemics.
