Abstract

A magyarnyelvkönyv-írás történetének a 18. század elejétől egyik meghatározó szeletét képezik a német anyanyelvűeknek írt magyar grammatikák, nyelvkönyvek. Ezek nyelvtörténeti, összehasonlító nyelvészeti, nyelvtanítás-történeti és művelődéstörténeti szempontból is kiemelkedő jelentőségűek a magyarországi nyelvtanírás történetében. A tanulmány ezen tudományterületek szempontjából kíván néhány mozzanatot kiemelni a magyarországi németségnek írt munkákról. A dolgozatban bemutatott művek túlnyomó többsége a magyar mint hivatalos nyelvért és a magyar nyelv iskolai tanításáért folytatott küzdelmekkel egy időben látott napvilágot, s része volt annak a sikeres nyelvpolitikai folyamatnak, amelynek eredményeként megszületett a magyar nyelvű tudomány és a magyar nyelvű iskolai oktatás. | Hungarian grammars and language books written for native speakers of German have been a significant part of the history of Hungarian language writing since the beginning of the 18th century. They are of outstanding importance in the history of Hungarian grammar writing from the points of view of linguistic history, comparative linguistics, the history of language teaching and the history of culture. From the point of view of these disciplines, this study aims to highlight some moments of the works written for the German-speaking population in Hungary. The vast majority of the works presented in this essay were published at the same time as the struggles for Hungarian as an official language and for the teaching of Hungarian in schools, and were part of the successful language policy process that resulted in the birth of Hungarian-language science and Hungarian-language education.
