Abstract

A technikai sportágak közül a repülősport, tágabb értelemben pedig a repülés áll talán a legközelebb a harcászathoz, a hadi tevékenységekhez. Magyarország a gazdasági, katonai helyzeténél fogva, valamint a két vesztes világháború következményei és az így kialakult politikai, társadalmi állapotai miatt az aviatikában a huszadik század során végig lényegében hátrányban volt a fejlett nyugati országokhoz, de sokszor még a szocialista országokhoz képest is. A repülősport legfontosabb bázisát – vélhetően katonai és anyagi okok miatt – a legtöbb országhoz hasonlóan nálunk is alapvetően a ballonsport és a vitorlázórepülés jelentette. A nehézségek ellenére hazánkban is kifejlődött a modellezősport, az ejtőernyőzés, a sárkányrepülés, és a fő tárgyalt téma, a motoros műrepülés is. Mindez annak ellenére alakult így, hogy a világháborúkat követően kétszer is szétzúzták a magyar repülést, békeidőben pedig csak időnként támogatták jelentőségéhez méltóan. | Among technical sports, aviation, or in a broader sense, flying airplanes, is perhaps the closest to combat tactics and military activities. Due to its economic and military situation, as well as the consequences of the two lost world wars, and the political and social conditions that they resulted, Hungary was essentially at a disadvantage in aviation throughout the twentieth century compared to developed Western countries, and often even compared to socialist countries. Like in the case of most countries, the most important base of aviation – presumably due to military and financial reasons – was basically ballooning and gliding. Despite the difficulties, modelling sport, parachuting, hanggliding, and our most discussed topic, motorized aerobatics has also developed in our country. All of this happened despite the fact that Hungarian aviation was crushed twice after the world wars, and during peacetime, it was only occasionally supported in a manner worthy of its importance.
