Abstract

A system with 3 LEDs and 12 photodetectors is introduced, the initial measurement results done on the forearm are analyzed. An occlusion test is presented showing the expected hemodynamic changes as a validation of the system. Clinical relevance - Infrared spectroscopy-based measurements could enrich the capabilities of prosthetic arm interfaces.
