Abstract

Az egyetemi tudományos diákkörök jelentős szerepet töltenek be a hallgatók tudományos szocializációjában, ugyanakkor számos kihívással szembesülnek mind a hallgatói, mind az oktatói oldalon. A vizsgálat célja annak feltárása volt, hogy milyen tényezők segítik, illetve akadályozzák a minőségi TDK-munka megvalósulását. A kutatás során oktatók véleményét mértük fel szemikvalitatív/szemikvantitatív megkérdezéses módszerrel. A kérdések túlnyomó része nyitott volt, így lehetőséget biztosítottunk a válaszadók számára, hogy szabadon fejtsék ki véleményüket és javaslataikat. E tanulmány fókuszában az oktatók TDK-val kapcsolatos motivációja és ellenérvei, negatív tapasztalatai és időráfordítása, valamint a fejlesztési és ösztönzési lehetőségek álltak. A visszajelzések alapján a tudományos diákkörök sikeres működése nagymértékben múlik a hallgatói ösztönzésen, az oktatói támogatáson és az intézményi háttéren. A mentorok motivációjában fontos mind a saját, mind a hallgatói előnyök szerepe. Az oktatók jelentős része említett olyan szempontokat, amelyek gondot jelentenek, illetve megkérdőjelezik a részvételüket a TDK-n (ilyen például a jelentős időbefektetés). A mentorok szakmai és anyagi elismerése ösztönző lehetne számukra, amelynek a minőséghez kellene kötődnie. Véleményük szerint a hallgatók számára több felkészítésre, módszertani támogatásra és egyértelmű tájékoztatásra lenne szükség. Az értékelési rendszer finomítása és következetessége pedig erősítené a szakmai hitelességet. A TDK-részvétel fejlesztése tehát a hallgatók, oktatók és szervezők közös munkájával valósítható meg. | Institutional Student Research Societies (SRS) play a significant role in the scientific socialization of students, facing numerous challenges on both the student and faculty side. The aim of the study was to explore what factors help and hinder quality SRS work. During the research, we surveyed the opinions of teachers and lecturers using a semiqualitative/semiquantitative research method. The majority of the questions were openended, allowing respondents to freely express their opinions and suggestions. This study focuses on faculty members’ motivation and problems, negative experiences and workload, as well as development and motivational opportunities regarding the SRS. Based on the feedback, the successful operation of the Student Research Societies largely depends on student motivation, faculty support and institutional background. Both their own and student benefits play an important role in the motivation of mentors. A significant number of instructors mentioned aspects that pose a problem or question their participation in the SRS (such as the significant time investment). Professional and financial recognition of mentorship could be an incentive for them, which should be linked to quality. In the opinion of the mentors, more preparation, methodological support and clear information would be needed for students. Refining and making the evaluation system more consistent would strengthen professional credibility. Developing SRS participation therefore can only be achieved through the joint work of students, teachers and organizers.
