Abstract

Az afrikai migráció trendjei az utóbbi tíz év során sokat változtak. Noha a hazájukat elhagyók többsége továbbra is a földrészen marad, tehát az afrikai migráció főként intrakontinentális, folyamatosan nő az interkontinentális migráció aránya is; a legfontosabb célpontot jelentő Európa mellett pedig olyan régi-új desztinációk is felértékelődnek, mint Észak-Amerika, a Perzsa-öböl térsége vagy Kelet-Ázsia. Bár az afrikai migráció kapcsán sokaknak a Földközi-tengeren átkelő lélekvesztők jutnak az eszükbe, a kontinensről kivándorlók többsége a reguláris csatornákat használja. Az Európát érő irreguláris migráció kapcsán is az látszik, hogy Afrika fontos kibocsátó régió ugyan, de a közel-keleti, a dél-ázsiai, sőt a latin-amerikai országok közül is több megelőzi a legfontosabb afrikai származási államokat. Mindeközben a menekültkérdés több tízmillió embert érint a kontinensen, és súlyosan megterheli az ottani befogadó országok egyébként is törékeny infrastruktúráját. Végül fontos azt is megemlítenünk, hogy az olyan új trendek, mint a migráció feminizációja (elsősorban a nők idegen országban történő munkavállalása), szintén tetten érhetők. | The trends of the African migration have changed a lot in the past ten years. Although the majority of those leaving their homelands continue to stay on the continent, so African migration is mainly intracontinental, the proportion of the intercontinental migration is also constantly increasing; in addition to Europe, which is the most important destination, old-new destinations such as North America, the Persian Gulf region and East Asia are also gaining in value. And while African migration often brings to mind the suffocating Mediterranean crossings, the majority of those emigrating from the continent use regular channels. In terms of irregular migration to Europe, it is also clear that while Africa is an important source region, several countries in the Middle East, South Asia and even Latin America significantly outpace the most important African countries of origin. Meanwhile, the refugee issue affects tens of millions of people in the southern continent and places a heavy burden on the already fragile infrastructure of the host countries. Finally, it is important to mention that new trends such as the feminization of migration has become common.
