Abstract

A tanulmány célja Csepreg – Vas vármegye egyik legkisebb, ugyanakkor összetett identitású kisvárosa – turisztikai és közösségi erőforrásainak feltárása a slow turizmus és a well-being turizmus elméleti keretében, mely az mellett érvel, hogy a lassú turizmus nem pusztán utazási mód, hanem értékalapú szemlélet, amely a jelenlét, az időhasználat és a kapcsolódás újra értelmezésen alapul. Csepreg példája azt mutatja, hogy a természeti környezet, a borászat, a horgászturizmus és a helyi közösségi programok integrációja koherens, fenntartható és emberléptékű turisztikai narratívát hozhat létre. A település fejlődési potenciálját tovább erősíti Bükfürdő közelsége, amely stratégiai alapot teremt a turisztikai szinergiák kiaknázására. A tanulmány konklúziója szerint Csepreg a régióban a well-being orientált slow travel egyik lehetséges csomópontjává válhat: olyan hellyé, ahol a látogatók nem csupán megpihennek, hanem – a természethez és a helyi közösséghez kapcsolódva – valóban „megérkeznek”. | The aim of this study is to explore the tourism-related and community-based resources of Csepreg – one of the smallest yet most complex-identity small towns in Vas County – within the theoretical framework of slow tourism and well-being tourism. It argues that slow tourism is not merely a mode of travel, but a value-based approach grounded in the re-interpretation of presence, the use of time, and human–environment relationships. The case of Csepreg illustrates how the integration of the natural environment, viticulture, angling tourism and local community programmes can generate a coherent, sustainable and human-scale tourism narrative. The town’s development potential is further strengthened by its proximity to Bükfürdő, which provides a strategic basis for exploiting tourism synergies. The study concludes that Csepreg may become one of the potential hubs of well-being-oriented slow travel in the region: a place where visitors do not simply rest, but – through their connection to nature and the local community – genuinely “arrive”.
