Abstract

A büntetés-végrehajtás reintegrációs diskurzusa szinte teljesen negligálja a vallásgyakorlás kriminálprevenciós potenciálját, noha annak személyiségformáló hatása empirikusan is igazolható. A tanulmány alapállítása szerint a vallás nem csupán alapjog, hanem jelenleg alulhasznosított társadalmi reintegrációs erőforrás, amely képes csökkenteni a visszaesés valószínűségét. Jelen írás kvantitatív adatokra építve érvel amellett, hogy a hit nem pusztán kognitív újraértelmezési keret, hanem a jóllét egyik erőforrása is, amely a reintegrációt nem kívülről befelé, hanem belülről kifelé indítja el. E narratíva integrálása elkerülhetetlen a jövő büntetés-végrehajtási gyakorlatában. | The discourse on reintegration in the prison service largely neglects the crime prevention potential of religious practice, even though its personality-forming effect has been empirically demonstrated. According to the core thesis of this study, religion is not only a fundamental right, but also a currently underutilized social reintegration resource that can reduce the likelihood of recidivism. Based on quantitative data, this paper argues that faith is not merely a cognitive lens for reinterpretation, but also a resource of well-being that initiates reintegration not from the outside in, but from the inside out. The integration of this narrative is inevitable in the future practice of the prison service.
