Abstract
Marc Koehler Architects and Loer Architecten's Republica project in Amsterdam offers a new approach to urban densification, replacing closed blocks with a porous, multi-volume design. It combines 300 homes with workspaces and hospitality, incorporating courtyards and unique facades for social and climate adaptability. The project transforms an industrial site into a modular, collective city extension.
