Abstract
Built in 1909 near Fort Monostor, this W-shaped concrete structure turned the Komárom–Érsekújvár railway cutting into a defensive ditch. Equipped with firing positions, searchlights, signalling ports, and services for a 13-man garrison, it anticipated later bunker systems; today its overgrown shell survives unprotected beside the road.
